Swiss Futsal News

Last Thursday, 25th of April, we had our second meeting with the Swiss Football Federation, and we are happy to report that it went exceptionally well. Mr. Hasler, Director of the Technical Department, and Mr. Rubli, of the Department of Varied Sports, gave us a warm welcome and responded favourably to our proposals. Those were the following:

Swiss Futsal League, starting November 2003

Swiss School Championship, starting April 2004, with the possible support of the FIFA Development Programme

Swiss Futsal Magazine, in direct cooperation with the ASF/SFV, starting November 2002

Process of the creation of legislative structures for true Futsal clubs (as opposed to Football clubs with included futsal sections)

Consideration of the relationsship between ASF/SFV and Union 7 regarding the organisational structures of Futsal in Switzerland

Inclusion of Liechtenstein in all our efforts.
