CHINESE TAIPEI NATIONAL “OPEN” FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIP

25 Teams from around the island met in Taichung to compete for the National Open Futsal Championship between May.27~30

Unfortunately, some top players and top teams (Chiggia , Tai-Dien, …) were not able to participate, due to the AFC event in Viet Nam, which took place at the same time.

Nevertheless, after 4 days of intense matches, Ming-Chuan (University) Team beat Da-Tung in the final to become the Champions.

Taiwan Sports Academy got the third place.

Until the creation of a permanent semi-professional Futsal League, this type of “open” championships are the only way to keep the fire burning for the Futsal players…
