MILWAUKEE, PHILADELPHIA BATTLE FOR MISL TITLE
The Milwaukee Wave will host the Philadelphia Kixx in game three of the best-of-three 2001-02 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Final Series on Friday (May 3) at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis. at 7 p.m. CT. This is a winner take all match-up, as the MISL regular season champion Wave took the first game 11-4 in Milwaukee on Apr. 26, but then the Kixx evened the series at 1-1 the following day (Apr. 27) by the same score. The Wave, lead by current U.S. Futsal National Team Head Coach Keith Tozer, are looking for their third consecutive indoor championship and fourth in the last five seasons.
