Futsal Demonstration was taken place

Myanmar Football Federation held Futsal Demonstration and Competition at the Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium (1) at 1 pm on August 14,2005. Present on the occasion were Myanmar Olympic Committee Chairman, Minister for Sport, Brig-General Thura Aye Myint, Patron of Myanmar Football Federation, Yangon Mayor Brig-General Aung Thein Lin, Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw and Committee members and invited guests. The presenters were Kyi Thar (Pwe Kyaik Khin), Ahrine and Poe Pyu. Former Myanmar Selected Team players, Than toe Aung, Tin Myint Aung, Aung Kyaw kyaw, Kyi Lwin and Myo Hlaing Win demonstrated the Futsal game and the referee U Tun Hla Aung explained the Futsal rules during the competition. Youth players from Institute of Sport and Physical Education were divided into Teams (A) and (B) and played Futsal game. Then the former Myanmar selected team players were divided into two teams and their match ended with 12-10 and won by the team led by Than Toe Aung. After the match, Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw rewarded Ks- 50000 to the best player Myo Hlaing Win who scored 7 goals. Mayor's Cup Futsal Football Tourney will be held in October in order to develop Futsal games and the teams that are interested to take part have to join MFF.
