What a market news from Cyprus! The "five stars" club
Ararat Nicosia signed the Polish national team player (and second best goalscorer in his country)
Klaudiusz Hirsch from the first division club
Akademia Slowa Poznan. The sensational signing was strongly desired by the club president
Vahakn Atamian, as he confirmed to Futsalplanet.com in the past days. Atamian had to "fight" against a lot of Polish opponents in order to sign Hirsch, starting since the national runner up Clearex Chorzow. The agreement period with the 27 years old player is based on one season with the chance to extend it for some years more. The polish star is already training with the new team, in which Ararat want to keep on winning on a national level as well as improve their European experience in the UEFA Futsal Cup 2005/2006.
Atamian also declared that another international well known player will join Ararat in October to take part in the UEFA Futsal Cup, even if his name will be announced later.
Also, the national champions signed
George Kais and
Nicos Timotheou, two soccer players of first division with
Apollon Limassol and
Olympiakos Nicosia respectively.
