Sanajon Pharmaceutical Group, the local pharmacy factory makes the joint efforts with Sichuan provincial ministry of education to start the first futsal championship in China for both the secondary and primary schools.

The futsal championship is scheduled for October and November at one of the stadiums in Chengdu city, the capital of Sichuan province, China.

The first provincial futsal championship is aimed at promoting this game on the secondary and primary school level and is expected to attract 60 teams to take part in. It is hopeful that this tournament can further the interest of Futsal in the boys and girls and turn more youngsters into this game.

"We set up this tournament to help the more junior students get acquainted with the futsal rule, hopefully promote this game in order to bring up more footballers to the professional stage for our province with more tournaments in the future." in the press release of the Sanajon Pharmaceutical Group.

Besides the Lining cup national university futsal league, the Sanajon futsal championship is the first official tournament for the secondary and primary school students on the provincial level. So far there is no any official futsal tounament for the youngsters on the national level.
