It's over! The Liga Futsal 2005, 10th ever edition of the brazilian competition, found a "first time" winner in Malwee/Jaraguà. The team from Santa Catarina conquered the title by defeating Atlantico in the second leg final played in Brusque, avoiding the third battle. Thanks to an impressive comeback in the second half (Atlantico was leading 0-2 at the end of the first part of the match) provided by Xoxo (double) and Valdin, the team coached by Fernando Ferretti could celebrate the title towards their fans. A great (sports) "revenge" for Ferretti, after the rain of criticisms received in the past World Championship in Taipei, as well as a further consecration for impressive players like Falcao (top scorer of the league), Bagè and many others.
