At the end of a day full of cryptic and hardly understandable press releases from the football club Viterbese (c2 division) and the Italian Futsal Committee, is quite hard to explain, even if for italian speaking people, what will happen in the local national team.

Between yesterday and this morning there was an about-turn from the soccer club from Viterbo, which announced some problems in the Nuccorini's signing (after having officially announced it the day before!), due to "important reasons". Anyway, the news of his signing was still not denied.

Also, on the local newspaper Il Tempo appeared an ironical article with refer to the missing attendance of Nuccorini in the Viterbese trainings: click here to read it


Some minutes ago also arrived a press release by the Italian Futsal Committee in which is communicated the appreciation of the Divisione Calcio a 5 for the Nuccorini's work. Is also reported that "in a continuity line with the agreed projects and activities there is, also, the full consideration that the agreements which Nuccorini shares on a personal and professional level. In this matter the Divisione Calcio a Cinque remind that the renewal of that agreement is the result of a professional choice by Nuccorini, a choice that definitely satisfies the Italian Futsal Committee".

There are no words, in this press release, to explain how, in this full agreement between Italian Futsal Committee and Nuccorini, was possible for a soccer club to announce the national team coach signing.
As, unfortunately, we are not able to give you a possible reason for that, we must suppose that has just been a postponed first april joke from the soccer club and that Nuccorini will keep on coaching Italy.

What is definitely clear is the lack of information (or better, of "real" information) that keep on affecting italian futsal.

A seguito delle notizie apparse sulla stampa e sugli organi di informazione con riferimento al Ct della Nazionale Italiana di Calcio a Cinque Alessandro Nuccorini, la Divisione Calcio a Cinque tiene a precisare quanto segue:

La Divisione Calcio a Cinque apprezza l’operato di Alessandro Nuccorini, tecnico della Nazionale italiana da otto anni, con il quale c’è un rapporto di stima e di valorizzazione del lavoro svolto e dei risultati conseguiti. In linea di continuità con i progetti e le attività concordate, c’è altresì la piena considerazione degli accordi che il Ct Alessandro Nuccorini condivide a livello personale oltrechè professionale ed in questo senso la Divisione Calcio a Cinque ribadisce che il rinnovo dell’accordo è frutto di una scelta professionale di Alessandro Nuccorini della quale la Divisione Calcio a Cinque ovviamente è pienamente soddisfatta.
