South American Championship

Our big “craque” Falcão had left to Lima in Peru this Sunday (October, 22nd). The most important Futsal player of the world and his team mates from Malwee/Jaraguá do Sul had taken the airplane in Cumbica, São Paulo, to take part in the South American Championship North Zone which is going to happen this week.

The tournament that takes place in Lima, Peru, is one week long and it will put together the best teams from the north of South America. Brazil will have two teams playing this tournament, the Malwee/Jaraguá with the “futsal’s king”, Falcão and the ACBF. This tournament qualifies to the final stage of the South American Championship, scheduled in December, that will take place in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Malwee/Jaraguá Team will have its first game today. The tournament consists of 10 teams divided in 2 groups. The First 2 from each group plays the semi-finals and 2 of them will play the final match on Sunday, October the 30th.
Falcão is expected to be the leading character of the tournament, as well as the top scorer. He is totally recovered from his injuries and he have proved it in the games that preceded the travel to Peru, in which he made impressive plays and brought magic to the crowd’s eyes. Now he is ready again to make an international crowd go crazy with his “carretilha” and “drible do Falcão”.
