Polish national team coach Tomasz Aftanski communicated the official list of players for the international tournament in Algarve (Portugal). There were some changes in the team, with the aim to make it younger. A clear example of it is the absence of the former captain Krzysztof Kuchciak.

“We must change something, having still some time to do this, as we won’t play qualification matches this year. The results of our last friendly matches were bad (2:3 to Slovakia and 3:9 to Czech Republic). We must work hard to change our position in Europe. We have a lot of young players and I think I should give them a chance in Portugal”, said Tomasz Aftanski.

Due to this reason there are some new entries in the team like Michal Slupek, Daniel Lebiedziñski, Krystian Brzenk, Blazej Bieniaszewski and Grzegorz Kasprzik.
