Konica Minolta Gunners Futsal Club Launch Team During A Dinner

During a dinner held in Ristorante Cosa Nostra, KMG FC launched their Futsal Team for Season 2005 / 2006. The players that will form part of the team are: Aaron Micallef, Adrian Caruana (GK), Robert Micallef, Kevin Polidano, Ryan Mallia, Steve Piccinino, Ronald Scerri, Silvan Borg, Vesko Petrovic, Jonathan Buhagiar, Marko Glumac, Carmel Zahra (GK), Raphael Psaila, Oliver Mallia, Simienov Stoyan (GK) and Antonio Pinto.

During the dinner, Club Secretary Aaron Micallef addressed a speech were he informed the club members and players: "This year we had some changes in the team, but yet we are still competitive. After not reaching an agreement with Carmel Busuttil regarding the Buzu Football School Sponsorship, the club started a search for new players, today we are proud that we have a team that will surely be strong and competitive for the First Division."

This year Konica Minolta Gunners FC will be participating in the First Division Section A, this section is formed by the following 7 teams: Head Hunters ; King of Shaves ; El Mundos ; Konica Minolta Gunners FC ; Amazon Pago ; Hibernians and Middle Sea Group.

After the success that the Gunners had last season in the 3rd Futsal Euro Cup 2005, held in Riccione, the club is considering once again to participate in a similar competition at the end of this season. KMG FC had finished in Quarter Finals during this tournament. More information on this matter will be given at a later stage as the club is still into negotiations.

Also during the dinner the Club has announced its Committee. Following are the 5 people who form part of the Committee: Anthony Micallef (Club President), Aaron Micallef (Club Secretary), Robert Micallef (Club Treasurer), Adrian Caruana (Member) and Martin Scorfna (Member)
