Financial crisis have forced the squad to split up and players move to other teams

One of the top Futsal clubs of Albania, Dinamo Tirana, will no longer compete in the national first division due to its critical financial situation which have forced the players to move towards other teams. There were recently a lot of voices and speculations about the chance for the albanian club to disappear, but everyone was hoping to resolve the situation.

Everything started with the resignation of club president Ardian Resuli before the team departure towards Slovenia, to take part in the UEFA Futsal Cup. Team staff and players showed their intention not to participate in the european competition, but finally they attended it just to avoid the UEFA sanctions in case of renounce. After losing all three matches and coming back in Albania, the coaching staff had warned the club officials about the financial problems and the team intention to boycott the new league. Club management promised to change the critical situation in a certain time. Unfortunately, things did not change. After two rounds of league, team players decided to split up and not continue the competition. This is one of the most shocking decision taken by the team players.

"It is sad, very sad" quoted the coach of Dinamo Albert Celmeta.
Some players, like Armando Dama, Ani Mullai, Gert Spahiu and Lulezim Mezini moved to Erzeni Shijak, the team which conquered (and lost for the futsal committee decision) the past league, then assigned just to Dinamo. given to Dinamo.

"I'm pleased to have such quality players in my team. We were always concerned about how to play against them and find a way to beat them, now we don't have anymore to worry about that", quoted the President of Erzeni Fiqiri Kllari after Mullai, Spahiu and Mezini all scored in their first match played for their new team. Ingrid Llagami moved to Tirana and Licaj found home to newly promoted team Joly.

For the second year in a row Albanian Futsal has to deal with the same circumstances: in the past season Klid Ballkan disappeared after the first leg of the league and now time is come for one of the strongest team in Albania to split up. This will definitely affect the Championship and there are no doubts that the fight for the title will be limited to two or three teams only.

All results obtained by Dinamo in the previous rounds will not be counted. A further notice from the Albanian Futsal federation will decide the scores.
