New coach for the Slovenian National team. As we announced in October (click here to read our previous news), the former trainer Darko Krizman was going to be replaced. Now is official: the new national team coach is Andrej Dobovicnik: this appointment, done by the local futsal committee, will be ratified on December 5th by the NZS (Slovenian FA).

Andrej Dobovicnik, former player of the national team, was "the winner" named from a list of four coaches taken in consideration by the futsal committee: Tesko, Dobovicnik, Ravnikar and Ahcin.

He was the coach of Pelikan (1999/00, 2000/01), winning the national league and the Slovenian Cup as well, then coached some local teams in lower divisions. The first task for the new national team coached by Dobovicnik will come in december, with a double friendly match against Portugal.
