Futsal: ENE Win Angola Cup`s First Edition

Luanda, 12/02 - ENE won on Thursday the first edition of the Angola Cup in futsal, by defeating Progresso 2000 of Huila by 6-3, in a second leg match of the finals played in the Cidadela Pavilion, in Luanda.

In the first match, played on Wednesday evening at the same venue, ENE won by 4-3.

This way ENE will play in the 2006 Super Cup against the national champions of the 2005 season, Escolhinhas Futuro da Nação, of Luanda.

Futsal Cup: Three Teams Set For Wednesday`s Semi-finals

Luanda, 11/29 - Three teams will play on Wednesday at the number one pavilion of Cidadela sports stadium, in Luanda, the semi-finals of the first edition of the Angola Cup in futsal, Angop learnt today from a source of the federation.

The competition will be played by Águias Vermelhas of Benguela Province, Progresso 2000 of Huíla and ENE of Luanda.

The chairman of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA), Luis Mourão, informed that due to the absence of the team representing Moxico Province (first finalists), a draw will be carried out in order to replace them, in accordance with the regulation of FAFUSA.

Juventus of Moxico are out of the competition due to not having confirmed their presence in the tournament.

The finals of the first edition of the Angola Cup will be played on December 01.
