Costa Rica to host matches against Mexico

6.12.05 - Costa Rica’s Futsal team will host a pair of friendlies against Mexico at the Colegio Claretiano in Heredia on 9 & 11 December.
The tricolores are also scheduled to face the Costa Rican Futsal League Champions Fortuna FS de Desamparados on 10 December in Heredia.

These will be the first matches for Costa Rica and Mexico since they met for the third-place honours at the 2004 CONCACAF Futsal Championship, where the ticos posted a 12:5 victory at Heredia’s Palacio de los Deportes.

Costa Rica and Mexico are in early preparations for the next CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament to the FIFA Futsal World Championship in 2008.
