Parnassos – Ararat 8-4

Parnassos won the Cyprus classic game against Ararat by 8-4 and is the first candidate for the next title, "stealing" it to the "usual" champions for the first time in 5 years. In a full house hall Parnassos took control of the game and manage to lead 2-0 at the half time. Ararat then managed to equalize in the second half but Parnassos proved to be stronger this time. Ararat had to take the risk of turning this game around which helped Parnassos scoring more goals. Now the Nicosia team is 4 points ahead with one game less than Ararat. The league is going into the second stage next month and Ararat will need a big effort to retain her title.
