Report by our belgian collaborator Diego Di Risio

On past friday, december 23rd, were played the postponed matches which completed the first leg of the Belgian First Division 2005/2006. Looking for the qualification at the play off series, Futsal Hasselt managed to win the derby against Minicup Lommel though a double scored for Lommel by the belgian national team player Nourredine El Yahiaoui.

The "Métropole" derby went to Forcom Antwerpen 2000 of the recently appointed player manager Karim Bachar, which is now taking the sixth place of the table.

Even without Roberto and Jacob, both suspended, Cristal Noir Morlanwelz had no problems in winning over Junkies Frameries.

Finally Onu Seraing, in their aim to avoid the relegation, found a basic victory over Arenberg Enghien. The Roger Botondo's guys could count on the impressive performances of Gokhan Yilmaz (four goals) and Ismaël El Ghoubzouri (hat trick).

Belgian market news

All clubs of first division didn't stay inactive during these winter holidays, especially those of them involved in the fight to avoid the relegation in second division and have a further chance in Division 1 in the next season.
The leading character of this market period was definitely ROAM Koninksem, with many signings. The Tongres hall club can now count on the dutch players Mohammed El Hajoui, national team player Under 21 coming from FCK De Hommel, the brothers Omar and Appie Nejjari from ZWS/Oriënt Plaza. Also they will count on Nordin Elouali (Maastricht) and Charles Van Bruten. It seems also already fixed the arrivals of a russian player, Baykav Lacek.

Junkies Frameries registered three new entries: Adel Ayaou and Pilou Men Loukoubila (both from ROAM Koninksem). Also, they signed the brazilian player (with belgian passport) Emilio, who was not confirmed by Forcom Antwerpen 2000.

Still talking about the bottom of the table, we have to note that Arenberg Enghien managed to reach an agreement with Abdullah Icel (from CN Morlanwelz) and Jamal Amraoui (former Léopolsburg and Lommel, now at ZVK Wezel, club of second division, group B).

The surprising team of the first leg, FP Houthalen-Genk is trying to improve again with the dutch talent Moes Rebel (former Hilversum and FCK De Hommel, dutch national team player) who joined the Franco Canale's team as well as his compatriots Dave Fermont, Appie Idlaarsi and Dick Hulshorst.
