After
Domenico (Atlantico),
Wilson (Macač, just signed from Atlantico before travelling towards Lisbon),
Sidney (Brazilian player already in Portugal with Fundacao Jorge Antunes) and
Coco (portuguese talent of FJA), the fifth and expected signing of Benfica is finally arrived: we are talking about Ricardo Moretti Souza, usually known as
Moretti. The brazilian defender/flank was playing in the italian second division ("Serie A2 - group A) with
Marca Trevigiana. He was in Italy since the season 2003/2004, with Luparense, even if stopped by a serious injury. Before trying the european adventure, Moretti played in some well known
paulista clubs like ECB, Palmeiras and Wimpro. The signing was confirmed by the team general manager
Luis Moreira.
