MFA News Release

01/16/2006: Massachusetts Futsal Association announces that the 2006
State Cup Championship results are in from the two day event that
took place on January 14 & 15th at the Dana Barros Sports Complex in
Mansfield, Massachusetts. Teams from every part of the state of
Massachusetts participated in this annual event representing boys
from the U10 to U16 age categories and girls from U14 to U19 age
categories.

The following championship teams in each age category of the 2006
Massachusetts Futsal Association State Cup Championships are:

Boys U10 - 2006 State Champions: Revere FC from Revere, MA
Boys U10 - 2006 First Runner Up: Pride Fc from Fall River, MA
Boys U12 - 2006 State Champions: Pride FC from Fall River, MA
Boys U12 - 2006 First Runner Up: Salem Gladiators, Salem, MA
Boys U14 - 2006 State Champions: United Nations from Dedham, MA
Boys U14 - 2006 First Runner Up: Boston United, Boston, MA
Boys U16 - 2006 State Champions: Chelsea FC from Chelsea, MA
Boys U16 - 2006 First Runner up: Latino Stars, Marlboro, MA
Girls U14 - 2006 State Champions: Shooting Stars FC from Framingham,
MA
Girls U14 - 2006 First Runner Up: New Bedford Pitbulls from New
Bedford, MA
Girls U16 - 2006 State Champions: Danvers Destiny from Danvers, MA
Girls U19 - 2006 State Champions: Shooting Stars Fc from Framingham,
MA

Congratulations to all the winners and best of luck as you represent
the state of Massachusetts at the upcoming USFF regional
championships in Maryland in February 2006.
