Kyrgyzstan to play in Macau futsal tournament

BISHKEK: AFC Futsal Championship 2005 semi-finalists Kyrgyzstan have been invited to take part in the Chinese New Year Futsal Invitational Tournament in Macau.

The event which also features Thailand, China PR, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Guam and Macau will be held from February 10-12.

Kyrgyzstan will clash with Guam in the quarterfinals and the winner of this match will play against Thailand or Macau for a place in the final.

National team goalkeeper Zakir Djalilov and midfielder Evgeniy Pilipas will turn out for the Kyrgyz futsal team in Macau.

The champions will receive a cash prize of $10,000.
