Today was given by CBFS the definitive confirmation about the club which will replace Palmeiras (not the Paulista's one, we're talking about the club from Goiás state) taking the 20th and last place for the prestigious Liga Futsal 2006.

The selected one is Associação Farroupilha de Futsal, another "gaucho" club, ambitious and recently created (less than 3 years ago), is the recent winner of the "Serie Prata" (2nd division) of the Estadual gaucho.

No more chances, then, for the "romantic" idea to a way back of the legendary Atletico ("Atletico Pax de Minas" in the best years) from Minas Gerais

All is ready, therefore, for the Liga Futsal 2006, which will count on the following 20 clubs:
