Futsal HellasIn mid week action the Hellenic Championship in Day 19 continued with no major upsets. Platon and Doukas went on with easy wins, while Athina ’90 did not play with Ermis due to a problem with the Koridallos facility that was to host the game. Platon beat Salamina 7-4 with Sokos performing his best game this season with his new team. Doukas overcame Minotavros 7-1 without feeling any resistance by their opponents who are fighting for survival.
At the same time Kosmos was getting an important win at Iniohos 6-10 with Sidiropoulos leading his team once again to victory. Asteras also went on with an easy win at Elefsina 4-11 and maintained their play-off spot. Olimpiada almost had the surprise win against Dias but could not hold on and gave in to their more experienced opponents. The Championship is reaching the final games of the regular season and the next weeks will be vital for most teams. Action resumes on Monday 6/2.
