San Cristobal (Venezuela) will host the second edition of the prestigious South American Championship for Under 20 category. After the first edition conquered by Brazil in Fortaleza (June 2004) the best national teams of South America will fight for the second title.

According to the Venezuelan futsal committee, as was also confirmed by CONMEBOL, the schedule of the tournament should be the following: 22-29/10/2006.

The CONMEBOL decision to assign to the FVF the tournament organization was ratified on February 2nd.
