ENE Wins First Edition Of "Joaquim da Graça" Super Cup


Luanda, 03/05 - The team of the National Electricity Firm (ENE) won on Saturday evening at Manuel Berenguel rink, in Luanda, the first edition of the "Joaquim da Graça" Futsal Super Cup with a 3-2 victory over Escolinha Futuro da Nação, in a second leg encounter.

The goals of the match refereed by Gabriel de Carvalho and José Francisco, came from Henriques thrice fro ENE, whilst that Mário and Didi scored for Escolinha.

In the first leg played last Thursday at the same venue, ENE (Angola Cup winners) also defeated the national champions by 3-2.

To remind that, the Super Cup marks the official opening of the national futsal season.

Joaquim da Graça, former board member of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA), died in a fire on 02 March 2005.

The Federation decided to attribute the name of the deceased to the tournament.
