Sharks, Ardus win in Trial Asian Futsal Club Championship

TEHRAN: Japanese club Sharks FC recorded a facile 6-1 victory over Malaysia in their opening match of the Trial Asian Futsal Club Championship here on Wednesday while Ardus FC of Uzbekistan downed Energobank FC of Kyrgyzstan 4-2.

Kotaro Nishino and Kensuke Tukonaga scored a brace each for the Japanese club while Syuhei Shimoyama and Ei Matsura added one apiece. Kondasamaki reduced the deficit for the Malaysian national side.

Buriev (4th minute), Hurchid (14th minute), Nikolay (15th minute) and Abdoraimov (16th minute) scored for Ardus while Serik and Mamatov were on target for Energobank.

Shensa FC of Iran, who are leading Group A on better goal difference, take on Sharks FC while Thailand national team will face Ardus FC on Thursday.
