Shensa FC blank Sharks 5-0

TEHRAN: Shensa Club of Iran blanked Japan’s Sharks FC 5-0 while Cat Talecom (Thailand) held Ardus FC (Uzbekistan) 3-3 in their last league matches of the Trial Asian Club Futsal Championship here on Thursday.

Mahmoud Lotfi scored a brace for Shensa while Afshin Kazemi, Gomes Bradao and Mohammad Keshavarz scored one each. Holmatov, Buriev and Yusupjanov were on target for Ardus while Narongsak scored a brace and Lertchai netted one for the Thai club.

Shensa FC will take on Cat Telecom while Shark will face Ardus in the semi-finals on Saturday

Shensa, Ardus in futsal final

TEHRAN: Hosts Shensa FC and Uzbekistan’s Ardus FC stormed into the final of the Trial Asian Futsal Club Championship here on Saturday.

The semifinal matchups saw Shensa crush Thailand’s Cat Telecom 10-5 while Ardus sidelined Japan’s Sharks FC 5-1.

Afshin Kazemi fired three while Mohammad Keshavarz scored a brace for Shensa. Gomes Brandao, Francisco Machado, Mahmoud Lotfi, Richlemy de Azeredo and Syed Amir Keshvar scored a goal each in Shensa’s victory. Sermphun Khumthinkaew (three), Anucha Munjareren and Jadet Punpoem (one each) reduced the deficit for the Thai club.

Buriev scored two while Hurshid Tajibaev, Nikolai Odushev and Umid Holmatov netted a goal each for Ardus FC. Hirose Takao scored the only goal for Sharks.

The final will be played on Sunday, preceded by the third-place playoff.
