No surprises in the belgian cup, the four best go ahead

The six times belgian champions had no problems in trashing the Roger Botondo's boys. Thanks to Alex and Robinho, the "Actionmen" were already leading with three advantage goals after five minutes. The Chico Paulista's hat trick changed the score until 6-2 Satisfied with the results, the team from Charleroi kept the game in their hands until the final result, a clear 8-3. The European disappointment of the Sergio Benatti's team belongs to the past.

Match dominated by Chatelet in the Wilson hall. An easy victory over the capital city team, which played without its iranian injured star Alireza Emamifar. Without reaching their best level Chatelet overcame a poorly inspired Brussels United.

The second division (group A) runner up didn't make a poor impression against Borgerhout. Was just a matter of experience if the first division club manage to win the match, especially on the score of 1-1. In the last minutes of the match Carolo Team tried to play with the advanced goalkeeper but without good results.

The third division (group D) leader could not delete the level difference with Morlanwelz, belgian vice-champion Thanks to the impressive performance of Bettinho and Aloizio, who scored 4 goals each, the Normaliens gave no chances to their opponents. This is the first seasonal defeat for Oasis Charleroi, after 21 matches.

Facing an inspired Houthalen-Genk, the home team didn't manage to obtain the expected exploit. The Franco Canale could again count on the dutch national team player Appie Idlaasri who scored an hat-trick.

The 2nd division (group A) team immediately start to lead the game thanks to their last arrival El Bassahi (from Junkies Frameries). Just before the Carmelo Nieddu's boys managed to react thanks to their dutch stars Merlino and Pereira. Though Christiaens reduced the disadvantage, the game was closed by Papanicolaou and Pereira in favour of Lommel.

The second division club was able to face Hasselt at the same level until the 10th minute of the second half. Then, the first division team changed its speed and conquered the game with a clear 4-9 score.

In this Antwerp derby the Karim Bachar had to hardly fight in order to win the game and reach the quarter finals. The victory goal came thanks to the experienced Gessner in the last minutes of the match.
