During the past week end the 10th edition of the prestigious Liga Futsal started with five interesting matches. As already known this season will involve the record number of 20 teams from many states of Brazil, dreaming to replace the title holder Malwee/Jaraguà which conquered the past edition at the end of an entertaining final against Atlantico Erechim. Just a curious note: Atlantico Erechim keep on writing this competition history: after celebrating the goal n° 1000 of the Liga Futsal 2005 (scored by the pivot Eric, now playing for ABC/UnP/Art&C), on saturday the Atlantico's keeper Cris scored the 10.000 goal of the competition.
