Futsal HellasAthina ’90 doubled their wins last night against Ethnikos Asteras 6-9 and is now leading the table. Athina was the better team as they were more confident and better prepared.
Ilias Bousbouras lead the way for the guests with his poised game and three goals, while Gritsallis tallied three for Asteras. Platon got their first win in the play-offs against Doukas 5-3, thanks to the experienced
Haris Grapsas who scored 3 goals in the second half to seal the victory. The game was very tense as both teams were hesitant to fully attack and this gave way to much physical contact and lots of fouls. Doukas is contesting the behavior of the referees who were once again very negative in their decision making leaving both teams complaining on numerous calls. Platon was more decisive when it mattered and got a valuable win which gets them going on the race for the championship.
