South American Queen
There is no chance to talk about South American futsal without involving the catarinense club, which dominated the recent scene and now aims to conquer the world. Fernando Ferretti has built an almost perfect machine, ready to win every title of the season, as the last results have clearly proved. Together with Boomerang Interviu, is the expected finalist of the tournament: no forecast on the winner is allowed! We're talking about two impressive teams, which also characterized the past edition final act in Puertollano (click here to know more!)

Full of stars
Well, is really there a need to mention Falcăo? Probably not, as the paulista star is worldwide recognized as the best player of the world. But matching Falcăo (just a curious note: his brother Thiago is one of the team's goalkeepers!) with Malwee would be a fatal error, as a single man can't reach what Malwee obtained in the recent past. The Jaraguŕ do Sul fans can also admire some more great names of international futsal: we're referring to the national team players like the "fixo" Jonas, the talented flank Leco and the dangerous flanks/pivots couple composed of Dimas and Valdin. Also, don't forget about experienced "craques" like the team goalie Bagč, or other impressive players like Xande, Antonio, Marcio, Xoxo, and Chico.

Looking for the "final" title!
After an impressive series of victories the experienced Fernando Ferretti can dream to conquer the final one "at home". The catarinense representative trashed every other opponent in Brazil: the third Taça Brasil in a row conquered in the middle of march is just a demonstration of this trend. Also, Malwee is the South American champion, after having defeated the paraguayan UAA in the recent finals played in Asuncion.

Looking for a sport revenge
As futsal fans will probably remember in february 2006 Asuncion hosted the postponed finals of the Conmebol Futsal Cup 2005. At the end of two extremely balanced matches Malwee/Jaraguŕ, as expected, celebrated the title, but the paraguayan side coached by Orihuela definitely deserved the attention of international futsal: click here to read our news. This is the reason why UAA travelled towards Brazil with the clear intention to "try again", there is nothing to lose for Espinola & mates.

Just one signing
Contrary to the usual "behaviour" of Paraguayan sides in international competitions, this time UAA will keep almost unchanged its team, as the only "new face" in Brusque will come from the brazilian pivot Everton Pacheco, a former soccer player who moved towards Paraguay looking for a team and "just" managed to sign with the futsal club 3 de Mayo. The other expected "loan" was not realized, as the Coronel Escurra defender Diego González will not take part in the tournament with UAA.
Have a look at names like Espinola, young but expert keeper, Ortiz, Jara and Osorio: they could be the UAA's reason to be proud in Brusque.

ServCorp F.C.

Country: USA
City: Provo (State of Utah)
Qualified as: US Futsal National Finals 2005 Winner

Web page: No page known

Brazilian blood
One thing is sure, ServCorp is following the worldwide trend: signing brazilian players to increase the level. There's nothing new in this and nothing american in the 2005 US National Winners (click here to know more!)which will attend the tournament in Brusque. The same thing happened with both teams of the previous editions: World United (with the 96' world champion Clovis) in Barcelona and Pittsburgh FC in Puertollano. The Ray Fuchs team will therefore try to obtain better results in comparison with the former colleagues from US futsal.

Italo and Davi out? Bad news for Rubbinho
In its brazilian "journey" ServCorp will surely miss one of the main characters of the last US Finals, Italo, due to work reasons. In the list of players communicated to the organizing body also seems to be absent another key player like Davi. Will ServCorp manage to replace them?
The team is guided by another brazilian: Rubens Fernandez, usually known as Rubbinho, who can count on good former experiences in the paulista futsal.
