Hanoi tops futsal event

Hanoi won a four-team futsal open event for the Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper Cup which ended Friday.
One of the host teams, HCMC 2, finished and the other, HCMC 1, third. Tien Giang was the fourth team.

Truong Quoc Tuan of HCMC 1 won the best player award and Le Thanh Van of HCMC 2 the best goalkeeper.

Vietnam is set to play in the Asian Futsal Championship qualifiers from April 14 in Malaysia.
