Futsal Championship to be won tonight

Will it be Hibernians F.C. for the second consecutive year or will it be Serbia for the fourth time?

Both have dominated their First Division Futsal (the indoor version of football) section, but only one of them can be crowned as Malta's Champion 2005/06.

The title will be decided in one final match that will take place tonight at the Corradino Pavilion. Kick-off is at 20:15 hrs.

In the semi-finals held last week, Hibernians F.C. ousted Swing Kids with a staggering 9 -- 1, while Serbia had to fight hard against El Mundos Fexco Western Union until finally beating them by a close 6 -- 5.

The winner of the 2nd Division will be decided next Tuesday 18th April between Net Stars and the winner of a decider match between Scandals Bar and Jeepers F.C.. These three teams together with the other runner-up, Safi Southsiders, have been promoted to play in the First Division next season.
