Vietnam crashes out of regional futsal champs

Vietnam dropped out of the 2006 Southeast Asian Futsal Championship this week with three consecutive defeats.
In the latest five-a-side match against Cambodia Thursday, Vietnam lost 8-6 and it followed a 9-4 loss to Malaysia on Wednesday and 6-3 to Indonesia the previous day.

Vietnam finished at the bottom of the four-team group B from which Indonesia and Cambodia advanced to the semifinals, joining Thailand and Myanmar from group A.

Thailand takes on Cambodia and Indonesia plays Myanmar in the semifinal on Saturday. The finals is scheduled for Sunday.
