National futsal team leaves Pakistan for Jordan

LAHORE: National futsal team left for Jordan early on Wednesday to participate in futsal championship in Amman from May 11 to May 18.

The Pakistani squad comprises of Misbah Siddiqui(captain), Shaista Leghari, Sheeka Nazir, Fahmida Habib, Shabana Kausar, Nadia Siraj, Azra Matloob, Farzana Mir, Riffat Mehdi, Mariam Leghari and Rubina Kausar.

Chairperson of Pakistan Football Federation Women wing and chief de mission of the tour Rubina Irfan said that the team was completely fit and in high spirit.

Pakistan will face experienced teams like Iran and Jordan having 18 and 10 years of futsal playing experience respectively.
