The 2006 Hellenic Champion is Athina ’90 after last night’s final games of the play-off series. Athina obtained its 6th win against Doukas 6-1, ending the season with a perfect record. The play-offs proved to be an easy task for the champions who have secured their 5th title in their history and will now look to represent again Greece in the next UEFA Futsal Cup, in the best possible way.
In the other game of the day Ethnikos Asteras and Platon tied 3-3. Platon gets second place and Asteras third leaving Doukas at fourth.

Results:
Athina ‘90 – Doukas 6-1 (halftime 2-0)
Ethnikos Asteras – Platon 3-3 (halftime 2-2)


In the lower group (5-8 places) Dias won their fifth game in the play-offs and will get fifth place, while Kosmos finished sixth leaving Iniohos and Salamina at seventh and eight place respectively. The focus of futsal fans is now directed at the games of the National squad which will continue to train and prepare for next year’s preliminary round. Coach Gougoulitsas is looking for a friendly match to be played in Greece.

Salamina – Dias 3-7 (halftime 1-1)
Kosmos – Iniohos 6-4 (halftime 4-2)
