Brazilian-style soccer project

THE first Futsal development project in Wales has been launched.

Futsal comes from the words futebol de sala - street football - and was invented in Brazil in the 1930s.

It's well established throughout the world, and more and more countries are taking it on board.

The Glamorgan Athletic Football Club is the first club to be formed in Wales and is based at Treforest.

It was launched by a group of Portuguese students studying at the University of Glamorgan.
