Three futsal events from next month

PETALING JAYA: Three national futsal championships are being organised by the FA of Malaysia (FAM) starting next month to further improve the standard of the sport in the country.

The three championships would be participated by the states and replace the Malaysian Futsal League which is being represented by clubs.

FAM's Futsal Committee announced on Monday at the Wisma FAM here in Kelana Jaya that the championships will kick-off at the end of July and ends in September.

The championships will start with the Futsal Cup from July 21-23, followed by the National Futsal League from August 12-27.

It ends with the Malaysia Futsal League from Sept 9-17.

Meanwhile, the decision to have a National Ladies Futsal League is expected to be announced later in the year.
