AZERBAIJANI FUTSAL CLUB ARAZ TO ATTEND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Azerbaijani futsal club Araz left for Germany to attend the Hyundai World Championship, according to press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation.

The club’s squad includes Rashadat Abdullayev, Vitaly Borisov, Rizvan Farzaliyev, Marat Salyansky, Rajab Farajzade and Tofiq Mikayilov.

Araz became the winners of the national championship organized by the company “Hyundai Avto-Azerbaijan” to win the right to play the world championship’s qualification round games in Moscow.

Here, they defeated teams from Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Kazakhstan and Croatia to progress to the final round of the championship, which will be held from June 30 to July 2 in Frankfurt, Germany.

In this round, Araz will face the best teams of Malaysia, China, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
