Indoor Soccer: Pre-Selection Team for Algarve Mundialito

Sixteen players were called on Wednesday, here, to be part of the Angolan Futsal Pre-Selection Team viewing their participation in the second world tournament of the sport, to be played from next July 19 to 23 in Algarve, Portugal.

Amongst those selected by coach Benvindo Inácio, highlight falls to experienced players like Manuel Neto, Manteiga, Felix, Mário and Kiki, who represented the country in the previous edition.

According to the chairman of the Technical Council of the Futsal Federation (FAFUSA), João Neto, the official presentation of the national team will be carried out on July 03 at the Federation's premises, whilst that training begins on July 05 at the rink of Luanda's Island. The embarking to Portugal is scheduled for July 12.

Athletes who play in Portugal will be observed in Lisbon during the team's training.

Angola debuts in the competition on July 19 against Canada for the group A, whilst that Portugal plays in the same round against Mozambique for group B.

Croatia (group A) and Switzerland (group B) are the remaining countries invited for the Mundialito.
