The new and ambitious project of Azkar Lugo is taking shape day after day. After the disappointing league just over (not including the Recopa Cup conquered in November in Lugo) the spanish club of Division De Honor doesn't want to fail again and is working with this clear aim, especially now which is back on beeing the only "big" team of the city, after the former Barcel Euro Puebla "transfer" towards Vigo.
As was quite expected since the end of the past season, the new coach is the former Martorell
Julia Naranjo, one of the main characters of the impressive season lived by the
catalán club. Together with him, in the technical staff, another arrival from Martorell: the brazilian physical trainer
Clovis Miranda.
With refer to the Azkar "plantel", until now there are four new players already announced:
Mimi and
Werner will arrive from UD Las Rozas Boadilla,
Pc from Martorell and
Kita from Carnicer Torrejon.
On the departures "sector" we have to remind that
Juanma will move on loan to
Burela Pescados Ruben, while
Oscar Jimenez will keep on playing for three years more with GSI Bilbo, after having spent the last months there, on loan from Lugo. The
Dudů's situation is still to be decided, as the Italian club
Montesilvano is trying to have him back, while
Lorente should move to the plata's club
Ocana Puertas Uniarte. The brazilian pivot Lorenzo is already back in Benicarlo.
Regueira and
Manel are also leaving the club, having respectively signed for the plata clubs Leis Pontevedra and Burela Pescados Ruben.
Finally we have to remind that will be the italian brand
Lotto to provide
Azkar Lugo FS with the official strip, for the next two years to come.
