Courtney Benn clash with Police

The final and third place play off in the Banks Cup Futsal competition will kick off with a bang at the National Gymnasium this evening.

Beginning at 10:30 pm former national Ron Austin will lead Courtney Benn Construction against Police in the final of the competition.

The dapper Austin will be supported by Greald Grittens, Levi Austin, Rawle Gittens and Ike Garraway.

On the opposing team Kevin Archer, Carlos Monkhouse, Warren Gikles, Sherman O'Donoghue and Royston Mars will provide support.

The winner will pocket $200,000, a trophy and 12 medals while the runner-up will receive $100,000. Third and fourth places are worth $60,000 and $40,000 respectively

In the play off for third place Banks DIH, spearheaded by Seon McKenzie, Michael Oie and Clifford `Indiana' Jones will face the strong Boxers Jewellery. Dexter `Dribbler' Bentick, Omali Nassy and Shawn `Fatso' Bishop will lead Boxers' charge.

This evening's card will also see the replay of the Trophy Stall final between Joint Services and Eagles United.
