Cristi VornicuSome interesting news coming from Romania:
Zoltan Jakab is no longer coach of
Odorheiu Secuiesc. This decision was taken after knowing that four key players of the team are leaving:
Alpar Csoma, Lorand Szocs, Laszlo Klein (national team players) and
Ferenc Csoma didn’t renewed their agreement with the national runner up from the season just over.
Jakab put as a condition to renew with Odorheiu the presence of those players, with no result. As a consequence, he has decided to leave the team.
The new
Odorheiu Secuiesc's coach is
Karoly Toth, former assistant coach of the Hungarian national team. Together with him will arrive the hungarian national team goalkeeper
Zoltan Balasz, as well as another international player like
Zoltan Szabo, both from
Colorspectrum Aramis.
Florin Ciobanu (Moldocor Piatra Neamt), former romanian national team goalkeeper, could also sign with Odorheiu Secuiesc, as well as there are still some chances for Alpar Csoma and Lorand Szocs to "change their mind" and renew with Odorheiu. If they will confirm their decision to leave the club, the Odorheiu management will try to sign two more players from Hungary.
Laszlo Klein could be the new goalkeeper of the romanian champions
CIP Deva, to be confirmed.
Back to
Zoltan Jakab: he will keep on beeing the Romanian National team coach, and could also sign for another national club of first division, as he's currently evaluating some proposals.
The new championship will start on september 2nd, the draw will take place on August 16th.
