Dimitri Nicolaou has been announced today as the new Hellenic National Team Coach. The Hellenic Football Federation has announced today the hiring of the prestigious coach who is completing his treatment these days after battling cancer for several months. Nicolaou will assume his responsibilities immediately and will guide the team through this year’s qualifying round for the upcoming European Championship. Nicolaou is certainly coming back to work with a lot of motivation as he has managed to overcome 6 very long months where he managed to fight his serious condition and come out victorious. Dimitri is certainly the man for the job, as he has shown the futsal community how games in real life are won. Nicolaou will replace Grigoris Gougoulitsas who spent 2 years as head coach and has helped the team progress steadily.
