COSTA RICA WINS TRIANGULAR IN CUBA


Costa Rica’s Futsal Team won a triangular tournament (Copa Cuba Internacional de Fútbol Sala) after defeating a Cuban “A” squad 4:1 at the Polideportivo Kid Chocolate venue in Havana on 10 August.


The ticos opened the triangular with a 2:1 loss to a Select “B” Cuba Team on 6 August at the Polideportivo Kid Chocolate. Then two days later, the Cuban “A” squad topped the Select “B” Team by a score of 7:3.

Costa Rica finished ahead of both Cuban sides at the event on goal difference.
