Red card for Cihan Ozcan in his belgian debut (Photo courtesy: LZV/Marku Bouw Official Web site)

Report by our belgian collaborator Diego Di Risio

The belgian league celebrated its first week of matches during the past friday, immediately registering some surprising results.
First of all, after the "hard summer", the seven times champions of Charleroi Action 21 experienced an unlucky debut in Brussels, where the brazilian troup coached by Marcos Braga (though missing three of the new brazilian players and M. El Hajjami) managed to win the match thanks to an hat trick by Diogo, who played an impressive match in his belgian debut.

GDL Chβtelet, still missing their brazilians Joao Paulo, Glauber and Paulo Cιsar, as well as the ivorian Aka lost its away match vs the newly promoted ZVK Wezel.

Winning start for Paraske Morlanwelz and Forcom Antwerpen Elite, respectively over Minicup Lommel and Junkies Euro Frameries.

In the first league "derby" ZVC Borgerhout had hard life to overcome RSD Edegem, now coached by the former Under 21 national team coach Hugues Trappeniers. The match destiny was decided by a Sababti's double.

ONU Seraing, that could still not count on Edwin Grunholz, found anyway an excellent draw against Hasselt, thanks to a last minute goal by Buscaino. Bad debut for the dutch talent Cihan Ozcan in Belgium, who got a red card.

Great result for Futsal Carolo Frameries in their first match in Division 1: the Franco Rassu's squad defeated Houthalen-Genk, still orphan of their dutch national team players Mouazziz, El Allouchi and El Ghannouti.

Market news

Before the end of August were closed the last signings of the summer market. Hafid El Guir has left GDL Chβtelet and found a new home at ZVC Borgerhout. Onu Seraing signed Bekim Ganiu, who should be available to face PB Morlanwelz.

Curious news about Billal El Hafid, who left FP Houthalen-Genk and has chosen to play in the AMF league (in Belgium called ABFS).

GDL Chβtelet is waiting for the transfers of Joao Paulo, Glauber and Aka: they should be ready for the match against RSD Edegem.
