Yesterday, september 15th, the Maltese Football Association celebrated the draw for the 2006/2007 season in first division.
Fourteen teams were splitted into two groups of seven. The best two classified from each group will play a round robin group of four teams in order to know the national champion's name.

Teams classified on the 6th and 7th places of each groups will be relegated in second division.
