Unforgettable night for Carlos Barbosa! The
Jarico's team could not have found a better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the great brazilian club foundation. Also, the team from Carlos Barbosa has reached Ulbra as most winning club in the Liga Futsal, having until now conquered three titles each.
A special mention definitely goes to
Jarico, who was able to complete his masterpiece in Carlos Barbosa. After two unlucky experience in Europe, with Napoli (Italy) and Marfil Santa Coloma (Spain), the ACBF staff called the coach from Estrela in order to rebuild a team which had just lost some big names in the previous years, like Betao, Fininho, Pablo, Lavoisier, Jonas, Gabriel, Flavio and others, including Carlinhos some weeks ago. Though this hard situation Jarico did an impressive work, as already showed to the world in the Intercontinental Cup, when just a fanciful penalty given to Boomerang could stop ACBF from reaching the final vs Malwee.
Great season also for
Leandro: the
paranaense, former Spartak Moscow and Charleroi Action 21, crowned his excellent league with an impressive performance today, in the third and deciding final. Same thing for one of the revelation player of the 10th Liga Futsal: we are talking about the flank
Pica-Pau, who was returning from a disappointing experience with Ulbra.
Malwee/Jaraguà could just win the first match in Brusque, but had no chances twice in Carlos Barbosa. The last desperate attempt by Ferreti came at the 30th minute today, when using Chico as advanced goalkeeper, unsuccessful choice for the catarinense team.
