Hellenic Futsal Championship Set to Begin

Monday the 25th will see the beginning of the 10th Futsal Championship in Greece. The Championship will begin earlier than any other year and will feature plenty strong competitors that will fight it out till the end. Athina ’90, Platon, Ilioupoli, and Kosmos VP are the main contenders for the title this year, while several teams will look to place themselves among the top six which guarantees a spot for the play-offs. All teams have raised their level and will look to be in the best possible shape for this year’s marathon which will include games for the Cup as well, a competition which gets reinstated after 2 years. The Championship begins with a derby game between Ilioupoli and Platon which will attract most of the interest. The games of Day 1 are:

Salamina – Athina ‘90
Doukas – Iniohos
Ermis Koridallou – Minotavros
Ethnikos Asteras – Gerakas
Aeas Pallini – Kosmos VP
G.S Ilioupoli - Platon
