Vietnamese former footballers return to play futsal

VietNamNet Bridge - Former female footballers Ngoc Mai, Thuy Nga and Bich Hanh will become key elements of the national futsal (indoor football) team at the Indoor Games in Macao next year.

The senior players have been encouraged to participate since the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) didn't prepare enough athletes for the upcoming event (in which the Vietnamese female futsal team is due to play for the first time).

The three will play in forward, central and defensive lines, respectively. Former teammates are expected to join.

In addition, to promote futsal in Vietnam, the VFF will open training courses for coaches in December. FIFA's trainers have been invited to give lectures.
