Star X United futsal champions

Star X United emerged champions of the 2006 Imperiall Sports Futsal Tournament yesterday after they beat Warisan 'A' 3-0 in the final.
Star X United also walked away with a cash prize of $300 at the Multipurpose Hall, Mumong Sports Complex, Kuala Belait.

The champions twice denied the Warisan teams when they beat Warisan 'B' 4-3 in the semifinal before meeting Warisan 'A' in the final. Runner-up Warisan 'A', who beat Jabatan Daerah Belait 'A' 2-0 in the semifinal, also won a cash prize of $200.

A total of 25 teams took part in the tournament organised by Imperiall Sports.

Hj Sueb Rizal Hj Abd Malek, Special Duties Officer at Belait District Department gave away the prizes to the winners.
